Eating a Healthy Balanced Breakfast
Here are my top reasons to eat a Healthy Balanced Breakfast and why it provides many benefits to our health and wellbeing:

Provides energy and is a good source of important nutrients such as calcium, iron and B vitamins as well as protein and fibre. These are essential for the body and if missed research suggests they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day.
Is suggested to help with the waistline as those who eat breakfast are less likely to be overweight and more likely to be within their ideal weight range. Those that skip breakfast seem more likely to snack on sugary and fatty foods throughout the morning.
Restores glucose levels which are an essential carbohydrate that is needed for the brain to function. Eating a healthy balanced breakfast may help improve memory and concentration levels and it can have a positive impact on our moods levels.
Can have long terms benefits including reducing obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
May actually provide a great start to the day and an opportunity for families to come together ahead of the day.

There is no excuse to skip breakfast. If you are short on time in the morning, think about ways of gaining time by keeping your breakfasts simple, waking up 10 minutes earlier or getting other chores out of the way in advance.
